Such an excellent location and amazing views. Compact, comfortable flat that has everything you need. We didn’t find the parking space too tricky and came with an estate car. Owner was great and responsive, gave us some really good ideas of things to do with our young children, we had a blast!

Linda & Peter were welcoming and the room very comfortable with views of their pretty garden. The breakfast was brilliant with plenty of choice. When they realised it was my husband’s birthday they gave us a bottle of wine .

It was unfortunate that the local pub was closed on a Sunday & Monday but that was not in their control

Location perfect. Car parking facilities are a little tight but good. Very comfy beds. Facilities in-house pretty good but a couple of tiny niggles being attended to would have made it perfect.

No instructions for the coffee machine or fire. Gel for shower/hair is labelled hand wash. Apparently the hand wash and shower/hair gel are filled with the same soap. One of the towelling robes could do with replacing.

The location was perfect. Tintagel Castle a few minutes walk away and a good view from my small window. The hotel was like a film set from a historical movie. The lift was brilliant.

Although I was keen to visit the studio of the resident artist, there was something strange about the experience. The bathroom was very small, even for me. Looked like it had been rescued from a caravan or cruise ship. However, it was clean, the water was hot, and it was all I needed for one night.

The hotel was perfect with the exception of an inadequate fan in the room , which was very stuffy as it was a hot day .
Negative section of review
Needed a higher spec fan as it was shot day and the room was stiffy

Breakfast was ok, pleasant staff in the morning. Plug next to bed. Decor downstairs.

My shower was broken and had to be hand held. Cell like single room with a conifer pushed up against the window totally blocking the light. No fruit (fresh or otherwise) available for breakfast. Hot water in a flask at breakfast, fine for coffee, not suitable for a cup of tea. I had to ask about breakfast, if served, when, where? construction work in the area started at 6.30am as did the bins being emptied.
