From the advert on Booking.com, this looked like a Hotel, It even calls itself Kings House Hotel. When my colleagues arrived it was someone's private house. If we had have wanted that we would have booked on Air BNB. Very disappointed and did not stay. Have sent a complaint to Customer Services, Booking.com

Aysha on the desk was incredible. We had an issue with the room and she was courteous and quickly moved our room. She was still on the desk in the morning and was still very smiley and professional. 5 stars for Aysha. Shower was powerful. Beds very comfortable and lovely pillows.

Bathroom was a little mouldy around the bath. There was no working fan in it so I imagine the steam causes it. However the shower was very powerful and lovely.

The room was comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Good for dogs but we don't have one. Free coffee and cake. The one member of staff manning the check in was very friendly. Food available all day and menu was quite good and varied.

Very basic in staffing. Self check in worked, but no one to call from room if there were any problems. Noisy. Room at the front. Hotel situated on a busy road. Had to have the window open as there is no air conditioning and it was noisy all night. Breakfast was basic. Very little choice and the same every day. No eggs unless you wanted to boil one. Hotel is overpriced. They have obviously cut down on reception staff to save costs and so there is no reception area and no amenities. So why is it so expensive when they have almost no staff. I would not stay here again. Prices should reflect the facilites. Minor point - door stop for the bathroom just where foot is when on the loo! Did they try it out!

The house was lovely and bright and very close to the town centre. The secure car parking space was an added bonus. Overall a great place to stay!

The hotel is very close to the underground station, functional, clean and friendly staff. Plenty of shops and restaurants around the area.

Booked a twin room, the beds were small singles and it was a little noisy within the hotel but manageable.

Lovely place here, room was welcoming, clean and comfortable. Staff upon checking in and for the evening meal were great.

Well the let down was in the morning. My booking clearly stated breakfast included but when I went to have it I was told it wasn't included. Showed my booking confirmation but was told I'd have to pay extra then when I get the invoice it again clearly showed breakfast was in the rate paid!! By this time I just wanted to leave and ended up getting something on the way to work!

Standard rooms a bit cramped but very nice. Bar prices. The cooked breakfast were not great, bacon a bit dry and eggs hard, needs to be cooked to order.

Room was roasting and couldnt open window to get air , bed uncomfortable, toilet "cubicle" tiny, couldn't swing a cat! We left at 7am after 3 hours sleep. Couldn't stay there any longer.
