The room was a really good size, plenty of space. Great bathroom and shower. Ground floor room, so easy to access. The breakfast was really nice. The staff were friendly. The free car park was very helpful.

My room (3) was on the ground floor of the pub, facing the main road, so there was quite a bit of noise from traffic, in addition to aircraft landing and taking off from Heathrow. (But late at night it eased off and was quiter.)

Rooms were more than adequate for an airport hotel,very reasonably priced. Staff were exceptional,from checkin to departure. Arranged taxi. Restaurant was very good,very efficient staff and very good value

Excellent location, stunning setting with attentive and helpful staff in a splendid period building. The breakfast area was light, airy and well stocked with a good coffee machine.

Decor deliberately dingy. There was no full length room mirror, just a desk mirror which had to be placed face down to avoid obscuring the bottom of the TV screen. The toilet roll holder was loose and the bathroom lighting was not well thought out. The bedside light dimmer switch was not effective and the 5V chargers on the socket did not work. The Eggs Royale for breakfast were cooked well but the bacon with the full English was very disappointing. The bar was very pricey with no real ale on tap.

Nice pub with rooms in a lovely small north Yorkshire town. Room was clean and functional . Modern, clean bathroom with shower.

Location, & as we are older, liked the ground floor. Could not answer question re staff , as we did not see any staff.

Mattress could do with replacing, but was OK. A bath mat in the bath ( shower over bath) to prevent slipping would be great, as the bath is deep and smooth.

No bath, not given an option of a room with a bath. Not many stations on the tv to relax to especially film and sport, in a city such as Liverpool I would think sport would have been essential!
