Lovley warm welcome from landlady, we stayed in the down stairs apartment which was spacious, spotless & well catered for. The Landlord & Lady made our stay welcoming, friendly & we were grateful they took time to tell us the story of the pub, thank you. Fantastic views from the fround of the pub, the live music put on by the local Musicians was a wonderful surprise on Thursday. The food was great, recommend the home cooked pies, the steak & ale which was filled to the brim with big chunks of steak, came with big dish of buttered vegetables on the side which were so good we had them again the next evening. Highly recommend.

The manager was a lovely friendly man, he even collected us from the train station for £5, then dropped us off in town to save us walking. The breakfast was as expected. Toast, cereals , tea , coffee and juice. Maybe some fruit would have been good. They haven't been open long but it has everything you need. Top of the street is the tram stop if you don't want to walk. Would definitely stay again.

The breakfast was delicious. Room comfortable, so lovely having a room overlooking the sea. Richard was so thoughtful by calling me to say I needed to pick a couple of things I left behind. Mark was very welcoming.

The shower & sink didn’t operate properly in the morning, only produced a trickle of water. Just about enough to cleaned my teeth.

Perfect location for us. Quiet area.

Only thing we would have liked was a chair that could be used in the shower as my husband is disabled and was unable to use the shower. The rest was disabled friendly as all on one level.
