The place was in incredibly good conditions. It surpassed my expectations. From the decoration of the hostel to the rooms. Even if there were a lot of people inside, I did not have any problem sleeping, but may be for others it is not that good. The breakfast was also good, I would have preferred a little bit more options or a dish that changes every day. Also, even if it is not close to the center of the city, there is a subway station really close and on the same line, you can arrive at the Big Beng.

The room needed more ventilation. In the night, it got hot as hell, but I don't know if it was because those particular days there was actual sun in London and it warmed the place. Either way, an air conditioner would really be helpful.

Great location and well fit out apartment. Liked the free parking in a gated secure car park. Comfortable bed. Easy to follow check-in instructions. Owner messaged us to confirm we got in okay and to reach out if we needed anything - which was appreciated

Such a lovely cosy place to stay. Coming to Boscastle is like coming ‘home’ for me, and being able to relax at The Welly made the whole trip so much more lovely. Super comfy bed, scrumptious food, and friendly staff. I’ll be back for sure!

Nothing at all which I didn’t like! Only things to note are that the rooms are a little dated (personally I think that adds to the charm of Boscastle!), and breakfast did seem chaotic at times, with just the one member of staff there it did take quite a while to initially place your order. Couldn’t fault the food though!

Really enjoyed whole experience. All staff we came into contact with were exceptionally friendly and helpful, from sorting out extra tea bags to an earlier breakfast. Boot room came in very handy after a very wet trek up Helvelyn.

Doors need a good oiling- could hear squeaking doors opening and shutting. Bath foam was super drying on skin.

No information sent by the hotel about the major roadworks taking place which resulted in a 40 minute round trip to get back to where we started. The room was okay but very dark, dated and basic. Noisey night due to bar noise but finished before 11pm, breakfast table was sticky with the residues of spilt beer from the night before, personally wouldn't return.
