Booking. Com stated that Dressing gowns and slippers were part of the deal in this dog friendly Hotel. But on arrival no dressing gowns and no slippers where pooches had been tramping over the bedroom carpets... Then it advertised a bar but when you try and find a table at 3pm they are all laid up for the evening restaurant overflow and marked reserved! The staff do their best but the off site Directors lay down the rules and the resident manager has no authority. Cannot even find a couple of dressing gowns. The rooms are well maintained by housekeeping but the day to day technical care is rubbish. Our Nespresso unit dumped a tank of water all over the teabags, sugars and biscuits. All replaced the next day. We asked the deputy manager why Booking.com was promoting a wrong offer and they said the website would not change it. We doubt this ..So we moved out of the Manor and booked into the upmarket Blakeney Hotel for a few more nights! We'll let you know what happens next.

See above the experience was not all that good....and it's Central London not Norfolk prices....so be well minted if you wish to stay here....sad as the property and recent fit out is excellent but as to atmosphere forget it The bar serves draught beer at room temperature !!!!!!! Clearly bar management training is poor. So we lived with highly mixed emotions. Suggest the off site Directors actually spend a few weeks at the site,! More grips very poor WiFi and the bedroom Telly needs proper programming, it'll take you ages to find anything! Frankly not properly set up for Hotel use. Other niggles, central heating not properly controlled in the room ( 402 ) first night freezing, second night too warm, third night just right. No Adnams as it's a Green King offer. They've spent a lot of money on the property but now pennypinching on the day to day offer. Avoid if you can.

The staff are definitely one of this hotel's greatest assets....made us and our dogs feel so relaxed and at home. The room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The spa was a wonderfully relaxing experience and my husband loved the golf shop. Food and staff in the restaurant were both excellent, and reception had exceptional staff too. We've booked to come back!

Our room was very quiet and had everything we needed. Lovely fluffy towels. Good selection of toiletries. Effective blackout blinds. Nice and clean. Loved the pillows. Very efficient air conditioning.

The room was a bit strange as it had a large, presumably structural, column in it and the bed was very close to the wall at one side. The bath was very deep and not easy to get out of for someone less agile.

The bar manager was a jobs worth and made ordering lunch and drinks an issue. One minute we had to use the QR code which wasn't working then able to order at the bar. We even cancelled our a la carte dinner at the hotel as they refused to seat us outside, although the option on their website gave us The Terrace. His reason was that our food will get cold. It was 22 degrees that day!! Thankfully Syon Lounge saved the evening and made my husbands birthday a special one!!
