This is right by the station which was perfect for me. I wouldn’t normally go for a shared bathroom but things were very well kept and were clean. There was a sink in my room so I could at least brush my teeth without going outside and there was tea and coffee. The bed was comfortable and although I was told it might be a bit noisy, if I shut both windows it really was fine. I think the host was named Kevin, who was lovely. Had a nice chat about his times in London and he very kindly helped me with my case as there are a few stairs, but not too many. When I left, he even made the effort to listen out for me and helped me down the stairs as well! He didn’t have to but it was very thoughtful. Considering Manchester was very busy that day, it was a well priced room and I felt they made a real effort to run a very good business. Well done!

I didn’t realise this was above a pub although it didn’t cause any problems. Also, I wouldn’t normally go for somewhere where there were stairs as soon as you get into the place but again the host was so helpful. This was not an issue for me.

Location was great and parking permit was provided for duration of our stay. The hosts were incredibly nice people, who gave us not only information about the town, but also the interesting history of Harrogate and surrounding areas. The room was delightful with treats like chocolates, a small bottle of wine, hot chocolate etc ready for us when we arrived. Finally, the breakfast was sensational - choice of pastries, toast and preserves, cereals etc, followed by a choice of full cooked breakfast or eggs benedict. Couldn't be happier with our stay here.

The staff are so great, location is ideal and rooms, while not luxury are clean and comfortable. Situated in the centre of the city, adjacent to the nightspots and an easy walk to the shopping area, WCC is like a little oasis of calm. City centre parking must be a big plus if you have a car and decent free breakfast was an added perk. Would definitely stay again.

Nice short break, the hotel Iocation was next to Thames, so we took a nice walk along the bank. Staff all helpful.

Had to pay for 50% carpark price to park. Evening meal included in rate, but only basic bar menu on offer, which was OK but nothing special.

The location, the staff's care for the guests, the cleanliness.

The breakfast is not good! The rest is great.

Staff and location were fabulous.

The decor in the rooms and hallways were tired and, in my opinion, needed updating. Now, just a little thing, the water for tea and the coffee were in flasks. That was disappointing. The continental breakfast was old, croissants were stale, and the fruits looked as if they had passed the sell by date.
