Breakfast was very nice and a good selection on the menu. The location is quiet and beautiful next to the river which offers some lovely walks. the rooms were very dog friendly and provided a bowl and bed if needed.

I booked through Booking.com, but needed to follow up with the venue with regards taking dogs as we were a larger family group, having booked 5 of the 6 rooms at this venue. As a result we had a little confusion over the additional charges that needed to be settled for the dogs in different rooms. An easy one to sort but could've been avoided.

Really comfortable bed, appreciated the room refresh consistancy each day. No chance to sample breakfast as it started at 7am after had left each day. Peaceful with very low traffic noise from A5

The door lock handle was coming loose, but still worked as expected. The opening window hinges appear to have dropped so had to lift the window up in order to close it but again it closed fine once had done that

we had a great size room split level with bed in lower room and seating area in upper room. good size bath on suit. Due to road works outside not a good view

We were in the loft, paper thin walls. Very basic furniture. The people in the room next to ours were early risers, 05.45! We heard everything, toilet, shower, hairdryer, kettle and tv. Maybe some form of insulation on the walls would help? There was the previous guest’s soap in the shower.

The view from the room out to the garden was good.

The bed was too small and very soft, there was an emergy light right above the bed with a green light on which disrupted sleep. I like a very dark room at night this was too bright.
