If you need a good night sleep before an early flight or good sleep after long travels, this is the hotel you need!!!! Very comfortable bed! Good quality pillows (we were even checking what pillows they are to buy them for home haha but they are Hilton's!), crispy clean bedding. Quiet rooms and good layout. Clean bathroom, good water pressure. All those things you need whem you are tired! Breakfast was amazing. We left before the cooked breakfast was ready, but had a choice of: croissants, yoghurts, toasts, ham, cheese, muffins, cereals drinks, and fruits. Very, very good stay! And the hotel is right at the airport so you dont need to leave 3 hours before your flight! Lady at the reception was also very friendly. Quick check in.

Stayed on a Tuesday when kitchen closed, but breakfast cooked freshly and excellent. Room was compact with enormous comfy bed and well set out bathroom. This is our sixth or seventh stay in the past decade, our favoured stop on long drives from the south west to Scotland. We have never been disappointed , even though it changed hands a few years ago. The welcome and attention to details remains first rate. Look forward to next visit when we hope to get dinner!

There is no parking, just unloading by hotel. The reception issue a free permit for local park, about 200 yards away.. no hardship!

Lovely 17 century inn. Location was ideal. The room was large double with four poster bed and a single room within the suite including a shower room. The breakfast was very good plenty of choice and well organised. Eat in the restaurant both nights of stay with good choice of food including a specials menu each day. The food was very well priced and portions were just right. The staff were very friendly too. .

Karl and Jude were very good hosts, very informative and friendly.The location is excellent with the Walks nearby and the town centre walkable in 15 minutes.Beakfast was excellent and the room although on the small side( which we expected )was very comfortable. Thoroughly recommended

The room was a great size, newly painted and furnished, lift is very useful, a little hot as window didn't open fully (and no a/c) but a lovely room

It would be great to have a full size (or just larger) mirror, room only has small face mirror in bathroom, also it would be great if TV was tuned, it kept asking me to log into my personal iplayer account or netflix account which I don't want to do on a public TV, wifi also dropped out occasionally, there is an odd 50GBP charge when you check in, they refund it at check out, but with no mini bar or phone what do they think I will steal that costs 50GBP?

The was very soft, no back support. The TV channels did not come in very well, even after trying to fix. Repair guy only examined a few channels, but turned out most still had problems. No eggs for breakfast.nice
