Communication was great from the start. The staff are so friendly and hotel is cosy and warm. We stayed in the apartment and we had everything we needed for a self catering break. We had breakfast in the hotel on the first morning and it was excellent. Location is good, just a short walk into the town/city

A good old fashioned B&B and all the better for it. Service like you used to get and a lovely breakfast cooked to order. The building can only be described as quirky but it's this individual style that sets it apart from the bland. Very comfy room and bed.

For the price, this place is superb. Shower in my room was a bit odd but I can see how it's been added at a later date to make room ensuite.

A nice peaceful location, ideal setting, everything was clean and spotless. Windows and door open for us when we arrived, the owner came to say hello and said if we had any issues to contact them. Milk in fridge to make tea or coffee on arrival, loved this place.

We were given a warm welcome and allowed entry to our rooms ahead of time. The rooms were attractively presented with comfortable beds, small sofa and a great shower. Lovely breakfast delivered in a friendly and unhurried manner.

I went to Newcastle to see a show at City Hall, the staff were ultra helpful in bringing up a map to show me how to walk to my destination from the hotel, they were super smiley and kind to me.

The Hotel was a stunning venue. The staff upon entry were very friendly and the process of booking in was very easy. Using the app to order food was very good.

The card Machines did not work, so when i tried to pay for dinner, i could not pay on the machine, only added to the room. The food was very expensive for what it was....£40 for a Buffet menu, for £16.50 for a over cooked, cheesy pizza. The Bed in the room, was very small!

Negative point was that the soap dispenser in the bathroom hadn't been refilled, meaning we had to reach into the shower and use body wash to wash our hands. £19 for a buffet breakfast (per person) is way over-priced. We went elsewhere. I wasn't informed of the £10 per night parking charge until after I'd confirmed my booking.
