Such a fantastic stay that we have already re-booked for our wedding anniversary later in the year. Beautiful location with access included to the on site spa and gym with a swimming pool. The staff couldn’t do enough to help and were lovely throughout our stay. Food was fantastic and reasonably priced given the luxury nature of the premises, we were pleasantly surprised. Bed was like floating on a cloud and we had a small patio area with chairs and table which was a lovely addition.

The hotel is well used in terms of fixtures and styling in places, though this is part of the charm with such an establishment, some of our rooms decor was a little bit ‘tired’. Despite this, the room was overall well presented and clean, and so we have still rated it the highest we could, because it did not detract from the experience in the slightest, and as mentioned above, we have already booked to go back.

The room was very clean and well fitted out with new fittings and bathroom. The door names were very funny. The staff were very caring to make sure everything was satisfactory as the property was new to taking guests I think. The pub downstairs was very nice and served great Yorkshire food and drink.

The heated towel rail in the bathroom was situated behind and above the toilet. It would have been fine if we'd been tall like a giraffe, but we're both about 5ft 6" so had a job with putting towels back. Also the music on Friday & Saturday evenings was very loud and went on till quite late, we did however get off to sleep.

I was in the attic rrom which was fine for me .it would have been difficult to sleep if i had been with my husband .as i would not have been able to sleep under the eave, it would have been claustrophbic.

The room was expensive for what we got. Cheaply done put and no amenities in the bathroom. Very poor! It was big and the bed was huge but the pillows were flat, cheap and smelly.
