Positive section of review
Good arrival instructions and how to park provided. Spacious place, clean. Tea / coffee and fresh milk a nice touch. Heaters were available if it had been colder than expected. Host responsive to queries.
Negative section of review
No instructions. Wifi / TV arrangement (which is a rather odd set up) and shower / bath (selection that I had never come across before) all could have benefited from an instruction sheet in the property. It would benefit from some maintenance too; all 3 clocks (inc oven) were set wrong or not working and multiple lights failed for example.

It was dated but clean, a good selection of items for breakfast, host was friendly. Comfortable bed and choice of pillow density. Was very convenient for us as friends live up the road and were having a party.

Didn't feel safe only having a flimsy bolt on the inside of bedroom door from the main corridor (we had to use patio door as main entrance) - would've expected internal fire doors but these were standard doors. Room was very cold overnight, no way of turning on heating and no extra blankets. Water ran hot and cold in shower so couldn't wash properly. Walls were thin and could hear noise from other rooms, like snoring and kids playing at 7am! I had requested a gluten free breakfast option when booking and was told they didn't provide this so I accepted this (though most places do offer something nowadays!). However I was a little put out when I saw all the effort they had gone to in providing a great selection of continental breakfast items yet they couldn't buy a pack of gluten free rolls or similar.

Perfect location for shops restaurants and pubs. Really nice room and breakfast each morning. Parking was easy also. Enjoyed every moment of my stay and the weather was fantastic.

Lack of condiments - would be nice to have salt and pepper (even in sachets) Would also be a big help if there was shower gel/ 2 in 1 Shampoo & Conditioner A lot of steps to get up to apartment. Not great when travelling with elderly parents.

The price was absolutely insane for the room. A small room with a toilet CUBICLE (not even a proper door on it) and a shower with glass door. For the amount of money I payed (£300+) for two nights, I expected so much more.
