Positive section of review
Lovely space for a couple/two couples or a small family. It was a nice open plan space with a little garden and it was very clean. The location is good. It’s in-between Whalley and Clitheroe towns - nice to go for a little shopping or out for a coffee, to go to wine bars and pubs and it has beautiful open countryside surrounding the location.

There were a couple of small faults that the property could improve on, but they’re not majorly significant, apart from one of them which you will need to possibly repair for future use.: 1. There could be more plates/crockery and/ tea towels in the kitchen. 2. As it is states that it is a dog friendly place, which is why we booked it. Perhaps, it maybe better to remove the lovely white rug in the living room. We were very careful with our dog but other people with dogs might not think about being attentive to it. 3. It was a a hot weekend and the next door neighbour had their jacuzzi in use and the water from it ran through under the fence and made the lawn in the property’s garden soaking wet and also, it came through onto the slate stone pieces in the patio area. We couldn’t let the dog outside in the garden then because we feared that he would get mucky feet and bring it into the property. My partner did have a word with the next door neighbour who apologised and was careful after that, but it is something that maybe you should watch out for. 4. The bathroom toilet upstairs is a bit loose at the base of the pedestal. At first we thought it was the toilet seat, but we both realised that the toilet pedestal hasn’t been fixed down onto the floor securely enough. You may want to look at that. Apart from those little faults everything was fine. However, I would recommend that you get the toilet looked at as soon as you can.

The room is self entry, high standard of finish to fitments, fridge v. much appreciated. Cutlery & crockery were available. Super comfy matress . Enjoyed the balcony & bistro table & chairs. Lovely view.Access to bar & eateries outside on ground level.

Window cleaner appeared on our balcony at 8am unannounced. We had window & curtains open because it was hot. No way to fill bath but with shower head. Bathroom extractor is not powered. Filled the room with steam instantly.

Breakfast was excellent, location is v good, easily accessible. Glad to have a drink and sit down in the bar after the Bruce Springsteen Concert. Breakfast was lovely.

There was two single beds in the bedroom. They were unfortunately uncomfortable as I am well over 6ft. Price increase due to the Concert which is a pet peev.

6th floor with elevator broken all the time. Very noisy apartment, from the streets nearby, day and night. The landlord promised a discount for the elevator inconvenience….. never happened.

The aircon set at 19degrees no lower, there was no coffee beans for breakfast so no coffee and food was inadequate. The communal areas had very poor old ripped seating areas
