This apartment was in a very good location in the Jewellery Quarter near St Paul’s square. Accessing the property was easy with good and clear instructions. The property was clean, and generally well laid out. The welcome basket had some teas, coffees and biscuits. There was a coffee machine which my friend truly appreciated! The WiFi was good. The back door was an old safe door, which seemed an appropriate nod to the jewellery quarter. The shower in the bathroom worked well, and it was nice to have the option of a bath. The apartment was a comfortable temperature, and pleasant to spend time in.

The second bedroom was very small, and my friend found the mattress lumpy. The window dressing in the second bedroom did not keep light out, which was a shame as the blinds on all other windows worked well. A very minor point is that the allocated parking space was occupied, so we had to pay for on road parking initially, we rang the manager to report this, and it turned out it was her car. A minor nuisance only.

We stayed in basement appt 101 which was very spacious, very clean and so peaceful. Had everything we needed. The hotel had good entertainment, the food was OK, but the real treasure of this place is it's grounds and the neighbouring Holly Hill park. We only stayed at hotel for one night as a get away for rest. It was lovely, a secret treasure. Staff were friendly and for us it was brilliant because they accepted us with our dog.

Really nice overall. Cute layout. Very clean. Great heating. Had mostly what we needed.

No parking or parking permit to borrow. No real kitchen like a hob or oven which could definitely fit. Late check in time and early check out time, these could be changed slightly. A cleaner was not present before attending though still clean.

Very noisy from traffic as facing St Andrew square, despite double glazing . No fridge in room, no safe in room. Room was tiny despite claiming to be a Queen. Continental breakfast only, this wasn’t stated at time of booking.
