The cottage is in an idyllic location with views of fields and horses. The rooms are clean and comfortable and it's quiet and peaceful up there in the mountains. We have everything we need in the kitchen to prepare simple meals. The host is friendly, welcoming and provides a lot of local information. We even got a discount in a restaurant when we showed the cashier the host's business card when we paid our bill.

My friend is very sensitive to noise and complained that the extractor fan in the bathroom woke her up in the middle of the night when I used the bathroom. She also preferred a more powerful shower. I think the shower is acceptable.

Beautiful self contained basement apartment in a quiet area not too far from town. The apartment had everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay especially if you were self catering. Appreciated the tea, coffee and milk available for our own use on arrival and throughout our stay. The little heater in the bedroom was useful to take the chill off the evening. Hosts were very pleasant and helpful.

the pictures did not do the property justice, it was lovely , plenty of room for our dogs and plenty of places to take them for walks , it was warm and welcoming with everything you needed , only downside was the walk to town centre as there is no pathway.

The interior was very clean. I totally recommend ‘The Corner Flag’ for breakfast (we wish we had booked for our evening meal). The staff were great.

The superior rooms have floor to ceiling windows looking over the pitch - which means there are seats outside your window. The amount of litter left beneath these seats was pretty bad given there hadn’t been a match there in recent days. This is my only negative.

Memory foam mattress was not so comfortable for us. Garden not secure for dogs so needed to be on leads.

The room was cold as neither emersion heater was working. The manager was full of excuses and justifications not helpful.A member of staff gave me a secind duvet and fortunately a young barman offered to borrow a heater from the Swan hotel next door as they had no working spares at White Hart which warmed up the room. Not impressed by manager the other staff were more practical and helpful. Also one i asked for room to be serviced for one day and this was not done

Room was not suitable for an elderly couple. I had booked a small double but we were given a small family room . and toilet with a bath which was difficult for my husband and I to go into. There was no wash hand basin in the bathroom. No lifts to the upper floors. ~The small sofa in front of the TV had a loose cover which we tripped on several times as it was not fastened on properly.
