The property was spacious and in a great location for our stay. Communication was great and we found the place really easily.

It was noted on the booking that the bathroom ceiling was low but it was too low for my 6ft husband. I would prefer to be able to turn the bedroom radiator up and down without asking.

The beds were so used and soft, that I woke up with a stiff back and in pain. Our room was never cleaned, not even the trash was removed. I asked for a hair dryer and they didn't even try to provide one. I was only told that I could have one the next day! The next day though, I found an ironing board in my room!!!!! (which still wasn'st cleaned) I took it out in the corridor, where it stayed till the day we checked out. Last, we thought we could by breakfast on the spot, but when we tried to, we realised we had to make a reservation first.

Very high standard with comfortable furnishings. The bed was particularly comfortable.

I was cold in the middle of the night on the second night. There was no where to turn the radiator up, which was off till 7am and my message about this wasn't seen till I checked out. There was no additional blanket to add to the bed.

I eventually checked in where I was sent to a room which was best described as a building site. The staff were ok and did change my room after refusing to refund me but still the new room had been updated recently very poorly, there were paint stains on the furniture and carpet and silicone joints in the bathroom looked as though my 2 year old had put them on. This hotel was probably very nice and very posh when it opened but is seriously outdated I’d suggest staying anywhere but here until it’s had a full updating but I don’t think will happen

It was hot in the hotel especially on the floors , beds are so uncomfortable, mattresses shocking you can feel the springs , pillows terrible, a bit run down, cracked shower screen, needs a facelift! Rooms are clean but bathrooms are ordinary. Staff were ok, explanation of group payment options were not explained, concierge couldn’t find our bags we asked to hold and we had to go into the storage rooms to identify our bags.
