The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.
3
After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

The property is very clean, tranquil and relaxing. The studio is equipped with everything needed for a short stay ie towels, coffee, shampoo, it even has a washing machine. The lady who cleans the rooms is extremely polite and helpful, equally so is the Host who provided the codes for the door.

The pigeons outside the window that were living in a disused air conditioning unit.

Perfect location, at the monnow bridge end of the high street. Perfect for exploring the town and attending events at the Savoy Theatre. We were there for a comedy gig. Easy parking. Plenty places locally to eat. We used a great new Italian restaurant. Breakfast was very good.

It’s quite basic and a little threadbare but perfect for our needs this weekend and I would certainly book again.

The staffs were extremely helpful despite being understaff. I will be sure to ask for their names for my coming trip in Aug to give them proper credit.

I think everyone tried their best so it was still alright for me.

The location is the only thing you are paying for here, guys. It's all about the location. The bed wasn't uncomfortable either.

£15 to store our bag for 3 hours til we checked in! I have never, ever had to pay to store my bag in London and I come here often, around 4 times per year. It's charged per bag so some tourists were really getting fleeced. The room looked cosy on the website but in reality it is a bed in an approximation of a swimming room changing cubicle. No windows, no TV (which I honestly thought was standard in hotel rooms nowadays), no amenities at all included. Bathroom is in a glass cubicle, so enjoy watching your partner using the toilet! My husband asked someone at reception for cups so we could drink water and the lady said 'no, we don't have any'. He asked her to try because she hadn't actually moved and there is both a bar and coffee shop on site. She went into the cloak room to pretend to look for cups! In the end he went to the coffee shop himself and just reached over to grab two disposable cups. There were loads of staff in the foyer, all of whom appeared to be doing nothing but greeting.

The staff were so helpful and welcoming. We had a lovely river view which was so nice waking up to in the morning. The room was spotless and the bed was comfy. Breakfast and bar service both really good and such a good selection for gluten free which for me as a celiac was such a lovely touch, having my own toaster to use I felt really safe. Perfect hotel for gig at the Ovo Hydro and close to the centre for shopping too!
