Wonderful location for travelling in Manchester. Walking distance to tram station/supermarket and famous stadium - Old Trafford. Quiet and comfortable accommodation for family travel.
Negative section of review
A bit noise from tram. It would be better if the curtains could block sunlight more effectively, because the sunshine hours in summer are too long.

Continental breakfast, which is fine, but only had one piece of cheese. Would have liked another bread roll and another piece of cheese. I am not keen on smoked meats.
Negative section of review
Not able to have an evening meal or a drink, but there was a choice of restaurants/pubs locally. Would have liked to have had the option of breakfast for a time before 08 30, say 08 00.

The property was clean and well equipped. It had everything you need for a weekend break or a long stay for work

There was an alarm on the wall that was going on constantly for 5 hours during the night from 2am onwards. After many calls to reception and no one answering I went down to reception. The man at reception came to my room and accused me of vaping or smoking in the room. Neither of which I do and would never dream of doing if we did, then I requested my money back as I was unable to sleep and was told that was not possible, the reception man began to shout so a female colleague of his took over. I have raised a complaint with the staff about the man at reception and the alarm keeping me up all night and was told a manager will call me at the end of the week. I am yet to receive a call from the manager. Also the coffee machine in the room was not working so we were unable to make coffee and had to wait for the restaurant to open to get coffee. They also took a holding deposit of £100 for the room for damages then explained to me once they had taken it that this would be refunded subject to no damages but can take up to 10 days to show back in your account. I’ve stayed in some very nice hotels and have never had to pay a damage deposit before. In my experience you are only charged damages to your card if you actually damage a room. Again, I have never damaged a room before so didn’t like this part either.

Full smelly bin outside my room from Saturday to Monday. Floors needed a good vacuum. I would have done it myself but no vacuum or brush available. Toiletries were supposed to be provided but apparently none were available. Shower curtain mouldy. Rooms not serviced daily.
