Really big house with a big garden. beds were comfortable and there were plenty of bathrooms and lots of storage. The drive is big enough for several cars and there is on street parking also. An Uber into town cost around £9 which is reasonably priced.

House decor is dated but to be honest it was perfectly useable and nothing was broken or missing. infact it had a kind of charm to it! The only problem is the bath in the master bedroom is so enormous that there simply isn't enough hot water available to fill it !

We liked the quiet ambiance of the room overlooking a small courtyard separated from the main building and the rural setting. The Inn is in a good location for reaching areas in Fife including St Andrews and the Fife coast.

The breakfast was fine but had no wow factor. When booking we missed the requirement in Booking.Com's screen for the number of people, so taken by surprised when we had to pay extra. Should this be more prominent when booking?

Welcoming and helpful owners, great breakfast. Located a couple of miles outside of Rye but lots of local pubs and handy for cycling. Plenty of parking and facilities for campers /b&b-ers

The breakfast was fantastic no problems there, the view was great of the river. only a short walk to the town and a walk by the river. The pool area was okay with a nice sauna for the cold day.

The décor was a bit shabby and showing its age and in need of a little TLC, nowhere to hang you coats other than a small wardrobe and nowhere to put you clothes at night. Plenty of electric sockets but none with USB charging ports. Room was a little small but ok.

Pheasant’s Retreat is an amazingly spacious, spotlessly clean, well decorated and fully equipped lodge. The hot tub and fire pit make for a lovely end to any day whatever the weather.

The room was very clean and the toilet was well maintained and modern. The staff are exceptionally friendly and will help to accomadate your requests.

There was not a lot of food options or shops because the hotel is in a very small village, and the nearest town was at least a 20 minute drive away. Since I was there for work, it was not a big issue as I dined at the pub restaurant. The rooms were not very soundproof and if another room had the tv on you could hear what was playing.

Excellent location, gorgeous views over the sea, close to everything in Portrush. Would highly recommend for a weekend away.

Car parking very easy and check in went well. Location is excellent for all Stratford major sights.

Lighting in room. The hotel was very busy and breakfast room was crowded, unsuitably low seating for eating and so many guests meant that the Buffet was very slow.
