Room and Amenities: The bed was a good size for both the kids and us, providing a comfortable night's sleep. However, as a new hotel, there was a strong smell of paint that disturbed our child. Despite requesting a refresher to minimize the smell, it lingered throughout our stay. Breakfast: Breakfast overall was good, with a great selection of options. However, the quality of the pancakes was disappointing as they were dry and hard. Fortunately, the rest of the menu was delightful and met our expectations.

Conclusion: Despite the paint smell and the issue with the pancakes, our stay was pleasant, and we appreciated the hotel's efforts to accommodate our needs. We recommend Crowne Plaza Newcastle for its comfort and attentive staff.

I was "upgraded " to a double room adjacent to the function room and above an air-extractor: there was a large, lively group celebrating in the function room till 11:30pm and the extractor turned on at 6am I'm not a light sleeper, but couldn't sleep through either noise. The young barman stood one end of the bar chatting to 2 young women, ignoring me and other customers and the other one was just rude. (The rest of the staff were pleasant and helpful)

It took us so long to find the apartment. We were walking around for a long time before we found it. There are no clear instructions provided for accessing the property or for where it is and as its pretty well tucked away there needs to be clear instructions.

The flat was lovely and spacious, with everything needed for a self catering stay.

The boiler was broken when we arrived so it was very cold, even for June. The key box was broken on arrival so we didn’t feel comfortable leaving the key in the key box when we went out during the day.
