Host Dennis is very helpful (he took us in his own car to the scooter rental company on our first day), room is clean and has a nicely decorated attached bathroom and the terrace on the small river at the back of the house is very nice to sit and drink a cup of coffee from the shared kitchen. We recommend this place!”

  Outstanding host from when we first arrived we were greeted and welcomed and even had a cup of tea made for us which was just lovely. The views are what you want to see from your window with rolling hills in the distance and the beautiful blue sea to the right couldn't ask for much more I have got to say this is a gem of a find so quiet from the hassles of life and I would rather not let others know about it so there was always a room available for us to book at anytime. 10 out of 10 in our eyes thank you again.

  Hotel was easy to find, owner was nice and quickly explained everything upon arrival. Everything was as on photos, room was really clean and bed was comfortable. Extra pillows were provided as asked. Hotel has good metro connection to the city centre. It only takes about 10 minutes by foot to the metro station and then another 30 minutes by metro to the city centre (depending where you want to go).

  Tv in the room was bit small so we didn't really use it, but that's not a big deal considering we were so tired in the evenings from all the walking around the city. Besides that, if you are a woman, neighbourhood can be little bit uncomfortable because there are mostly men outside in the evening hours. During the night or the early hours you can hear some noise from the street (cars, people arguing, etc.) so if you are a light sleeper this can be a problem. Again, for us this was no big deal beacuse we were so tired and didn't wake much during the night.

  Nice big room with big window, views over Bath. Very friendly staff.

  Until the bar closed at 12.30m on the upper floor, the noise levels were very bad. Footsteps, tables and chairs being dragged across the floor and banging was constant. I did advise reception and agreed i couldnt understand why i could hear this as my room was not ditectly below. I believe the noise was travelling through the heater vent. Reception did apologise but i felt this didnt address that i had a very poor sleep and had to buy ear plugs. We are early to bed and early risers. Such a shame as without this it would have been a great stay.

  No address. Instructions given after having to call. Smell terrible. Luxury is not the word. Hole in cupboard, shower hose and kitchen tap needs repair. Very nosy from traffic as we have to open windows for ventilation.

  The 'breakfast' was appalling as was the state of the hotel and room. Run down and terrible location to find on Satnav. The website states 'unlimited breakfast' so I paid for this. However when we arrived and after paying we were told it was a 'grab and go' breakfast which consisted of a cereal bar and a few other cheap items. Absolutely disgusting. The room was shabby and in some places dirty. Disgusted
