Proximity to all the major attractions - the most notable being York Minster. Stunning decor and beautifully kitted out for a comfortable stay. Great to meet the owner who was very helpful and informative about accessing City sights.

I was not aware that it was student accommodation. The walls were extremely thin so you could constantly hear people in the hallways. Because the bed is in the loft it got unnaturally warm during the night & there was a constant strange smell in the hallways & room. I paid almost €700 for three nights, bare in mind it was Sunday-Wednesday also not even a weekend/bank holiday which in hindsight I should of looked for somewhere nicer for that price that was not in the same building as university accommodation. On checkout the staff member asked how my stay was and because there were two people checking in I didn’t want to say it in front of them that it wasn’t worth the money

Nothing! It was a horrendous stay!

No wifi, no phone, no body lotion or other basic toiletries. There was no way to contact reception due to no phone in the room. And there was no wifi. Breakfast was too basic.
