We stayed for 3 nights, as a family of 4 with two kids, both 6 years old. The family room was really good, very well set out with a separate room attached, with two single beds and a TV in for the kids. The room service was good. Great location for any families staying for Legoland, only 18 minutes drive away. This Hotel also took Deliveroo deliveries, as one night out of the 3 we stayed, it was our kids birthday and they wanted there favourite takeaway, so that is always a bonus, and the staff were great at receiving the order and calling us to come collect from reception. Very Friendly staff at the reception & the restaurants.

The 3 nights we was there, our room was not cleaned - this was not so much a problem on the clean part, but it is annoying have to track down cleaners to ask for more toilet rolls, tea and coffee & milk etc. I would say the cocktails at the bar are well over priced for not very good cocktails... I think if a hotel is to charge £12 a cocktail, they should be made properly.

The Yard In Bath Hotel was a 10/10. The location was great! A 10 minute walk from everywhere we went to. The breakfast hamper was amazing. So nice to have this delivered each morning. It was a pleasant surprise and a lovely detail. The entire hotel experience was wonderful. The downstairs lounge/coffee bar had a great drink and snack menu. If you’re visiting Bath this should be your first choice.

The breakfast was very good and filling and the coffee was very good. The views from our room were toward the East Strand beach and Skerries Islands and absolutely beautiful! Yvonne helps serve breakfast and cleans the rooms - she was fun and bubbly! We met Anna briefly on our departure and she was delightful. Ben was conversational each morning and if we saw him coming and going.

We arrived in Portrush on a Sunday before a bank holiday Monday and the town was packed. We had a difficult time dropping off my husband's parents and a couple of their bags, then my husband and I had to find parking on the far south side. We had to hike with our backpack luggage and some of his parents things and when we got to Albany Lodge, Ben spoke to us through the door and took a while to let us inside. Our packs were very heavy and we had extra things and he didn't seem to care or read the situation very well. Our rooms were on the top 2 floors, which offered beautiful views, but many flights of stairs before we could set down our things. The room on the top level had a very hard bed and small/cramped bathroom/shower.

Location: Good, central to amenities and travel links. Room: on the small side and impractical for 2 but 2 days was enough. Facilities:: En suite, hot and cold water and roomy shower. Keep shower cover on to avoid sanitary smells. We didn't realise this needed to stay on constantly! Bed: comfortable and slept very well

Room size. On the small side

This hotel was ok but was the most expensive hotel on our trip and didn’t really represent good value . Breakfast was an ok buffet but evening menu was uninspiring so we went elsewhere . Good views, parking and location for town
Negative section of review
A bit expensive for what we got . Staff standing around a bit at breakfast instead of clearing plates . Poor evening meal options

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent location. Lots of character. Food was great and breakfasts especially beautifully cooked

Hottest setting on shower wasn't very forceful. Needed a sheet only covering on a hot night

The front could do with cleaning, broken glass and fag butts. First impressions are important.

Oh, the dormer bedroom. If you're tall like us, be wary when getting up in the night!
