The location was superb. It provides a peace and tranquility within glorious meadow surroundings. It is also wonderful for walks, particularly for us, with our 3yr Labrador who has boundless energy levels. Eleanor welcomed us heartedly, and with a sense of making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We never felt intruded upon, even though the Barn is within proximity to the main house. The accommodation provided us with everything we needed for our stay, even certain provisions we didn't need to have brought along such as tea/coffee, which were stored in the cupboard. There is also the bonus of some extremely lovely places to visit for days out in the surrounding area. Truly wonderful. What a gem. Thankyou again for a lovely stay, we look forward to our next visit.

Ideal place to get to, I found it very easily. Staff lovely and place was very clean. Adequate for my needs Also rooms on ground floor so for me, this was perfect as mobility issues. I didn't have the food but breakfast looked lovely

Only thing I wasn't keen on was having to go to the bar to make hot drinks. Tea and coffee is plentiful, and free. My thing was that I had to keep putting on suitable clothes instead of lounging in my nightie.

Amazing location. Living for a few days in such a history-filled place is fantastic. John the owner was very nice and interesting when asked about the past of the mill. The town is lovely and quiet. The walks around are great.

The large curtain-less windows are a bit tough for sleeping in the summer, when the night starts late and the morning sun is very early.

Convenient stay for catching the Dublin ferry the next day. The hosts were welcoming and very helpful with where to get food, petrol, etc. The room was compact but clean, comfy and had everything you would need.

Views are amazing. Everything you need is already there including a fresh pint of milk. Wifi has a good reception. Informed of everyting we needed to know either by email in advance or communicated by phone.

Although the little gifts are a pleasant surprise (Bottle of Cava, pint of Milk, box of chocolate biscuits), the biscuits were only just out of date

Weird check in. No one to check in with. No one answered the phone. Room hadn’t been cleaned yet. Another couple were waiting too. Not sure anyone was expecting us 🥴. Farm shop not open on Monday and Tuesday so didn’t get a chance to grab food on arrival.
