- “The modern retro look in room and the amazingly decorated corridors made this place my favorite hotel. I had the luck of getting an airside room and could see nighttime operations on the runways. Certainly a place an AVgeek would love. The small touches like postcards in room and great amenities like shaving razor and cream were much appreciated. The "secret" rooftop terrace where you could sit and watch operations at the airport 24/7 was wonderful. Staff were all lovely - one manager was even greeting people outside and leading them in to the lobby.”

Stefan can give you for very cheap price. The old town, the Big Buddha and many beaches you can ride in 20 minutes. I will go back to Stefan for sure. The best is you can see the sea from your bed. The morning is beautiful. The best place for breakfast is only 50 meters from the house. Many good restaurants are 5 minutes by walk.”

  I totally loved this place. It’s in the middle of nowhere and brilliantly spooky and old and highland and brilliant and cozy. Our room had a proper FIRE, massive bath and shower, great bed with proper linen, I loved the deco chairs by the fire, I cannot recommend this place enough. Food :dinner was delicious and try the home made bread. The breakfast was so good, my partner says try the scrambled eggs and the sausage

  Staff extremely friendly and informative, housekeeping staff could not have been more helpful either. Room, clean and warm, beds comfortable, tea tray well stocked and very useful having the small fridge. Hotel position ideal for exploring Douglas. Pan Asian restaurant in hotel is excellent and well priced.

  Hotel car parking is somewhat restricted, not particularly easy to find and is chargeable. No immediate quiet bar area for guests, the first night we were there, there was a function on with a group which made the bar pretty much inaccessible and very noisy.

  Warm welcome, good value and peaceful location handy for Lyme Regis. Convenient and ample continental breakfast in the room. Had a good evening meal a mile up the road at the Hunters Inn, from where it was an easy drive down into Lyme Regis for an evening stroll.
