Booked this for my partners 21st as he wanted to go diddly squat farm shop and this hotel was the good value for money 10 minute drive from the farm shop. Book a double room and was expecting just a normal hotel shower but I was surprised when there was a bath (big enough for two people) aswell as a shower separate in the same room. Our room had a balcony facing the car park and the sunset was so beautiful and relaxing just sitting on the balcony. 10/10 hotel I would recommend this hotel!!

Location. Breakfast is excellent. Nothing was a problem. Rooms are very comfortable. Liz and Chris were excellent. They made us feel at home from the time we arrived. They came up with some wonderful day trips to do. And places to eat. When I travel back to the lakes district, this is where I will be staying. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Mark was class, very friendly, not awkard at all, very inclusive, good.banter and helped out with some advice on personal matters. A very down to earth guy and a lovely house in a nice area, I had a great weekend.

Wonderful place with great staff! Warmly welcomed and shown around. The new playground in the back field was thoroughly enjoyed by our youngest. Very clean, comfy beds and a great breakfast! Thank you so much.

We understand that it's an old building, we love it's quirky bits and features, just wish the floors weren't so creaky. Hard to creep around at night if we got in late, when every spot creaks! But this wouldn't put us off staying again. Thanks all!

Self check-in was easy, room was very clean & well decorated. Facilities in room were good. Location was good for most local sites & amenities, also good for road access.

Lack of a lift for disabled was a negative, but they do have rooms on lower level so it isn’t a problem.

The barrier for the valet parking , we always have to pull up on the street and go into the hotel to ask a member to come out to assist us and then can pull into the hotel. Great security but not a smooth arrival
