The food in the restaurant was amazing, the glamping pods were very comfortable, the staff went out of their way to show us around and make sure we were happy. We brought our little dog, and they offered to look after him while we used the sauna and hot tub. The owner invited us to look at the stars through his telescope and was happy to talk to us at length.”

We used the washing facility all our clothes came back clean ironed & folded smelling fabulous So look no further Beautiful place Beautiful people Thanks and look forward to coming back soon”

  Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The proximity to the airport was ideal. The staff member on reception was very friendly. Walking distance into town was only a few minutes so we could get some dinner and the premises did have the facilities for people to bring their own food/take-outs if preferred. The property served our purpose very well.

  On arrival the parking area was a bit cluttered with rubbish which didn't give a good initial impression; but on entering the building it was obvious that work has recently been carried out to smarten things up. The corridor was a bit gloomy - dark paint - but the room itself was bright, clean and airy. Breakfast was provided, but was very basic. We'd overlooked/forgotten that we had to pay £12 to park overnight - psychologically, I'd prefer that charge to be included in the cost of the one-night stay.

  The location is fantastic - close to Kings Cross/St. Pancreas station so on the train/underground lines from Gatwick and Heathrow airports and also convenient if you take the train in from Europe. Close to the coal docks which have a cool vibe and lots of great restaurants and cafés nearby.

  We had a bit of trouble getting the wifi to work which I didn't mind but a total no go with my teen!

  A lovely friendly couple run this accommodation. Their house is in a fantastic location with amazing views and they make you feel very welcome. The breakfast is very good, in room tea and coffee fresh milk, water is very welcome.

  The attention to detail on the standard of decor needs some consideration. But it wouldn't stop us staying again because everything else is so good.

  Modern and spacious flat in an excellent central location . Staff generously let us check in early to drop off our bags which was much appreciated!

  Missing some basic facilities - eg only 3 towels for 4 guests; only one toilet roll (for 4 people for two nights); missing kitchen equipment such as baking trays, tea towel or oven gloves so impossible to cook anything! Shower spent about 10mins icy cold before starting to get warm. There's some dodgy looking wiring outside the flat in the foyer

  I had a basement room which I knew, however to get there was a walk through all the cleaning equipment and spare mattresses and chairs and past the laundry room. Whilst the room was in the basement the lighting was also a bit dim and depressing.
