I mostly want to give kudos to the communication of the staff. Our original accommodation (this one) was not available due to circumstances at the very last minute and they arranged a replacement very quickly. Communication was a bit chaotic but they did keep us in the loop well. We ended up in an apartment in Earl's Court instead. That location was quite okay. It was in a nice neighborhood and near the underground. The room itself was quite spaceous and clean with a balcony overlooking the gardens.

This will be about the accommodation at Earl's Court that we were put in as a replacement, so it may not be fully representative. Although the main room was spaceous and clean, the bathroom was in need of some maintenance. Although clean, it is tiny and lots of things were crooked, missing or coming off the walls. Especially the shower itself was a challenge. I am a pretty tall person at 1.96m, but the shower head was fixed at roughly 1.80m, ending just above my shoulder. As the shower cabin itself was also quite small I literally had to squeeze my head between the shower head and the wall to be able to shower and I could barely move without the shower head poking in my neck. It was one of the most uncomfortable shower experiences I have had while traveling. Also, the shower head was leaking like crazy, wasting a lot of water. My other major improvement point would be the wifi, as it was very unreliable and essentially non-existent.

The lodges were very private and comfortable for the price. The compound was very high tech. The views at breakfast were great looking over the water. The little farm section by the reception had amazing animals like a white peacock, white emu's, goats and a large pig with dogs wandering, very animal friendly.

There was no cooked breakfast, just cereal, pastries and yoghurt with fruit and Tea and coffee. A bit basic but would be greatly improved by a warm English breakfast or even bacon buttie or beans on toast.

Modern, clean and comfy room. Breakfast was ok, but bread was dry and the cooked food was as expected. Would like some healthier options. Location was good as I was travelling between city center and Excel center.

As with all London hotels, costs were high for the level of service and comfort. That said this was the cheapest hotel I could find on a transport link to where I needed to go. In the morning when I tried to get an Uber/Bolt no driver would accept the ride, even when I increased the fare, so recommend pre-booking your taxi needs.

A lovely twin room, clean and light. A good sized bathroom. Also very quiet. The bar is vibrant with locals and there’s a great beer garden overlooking the sea. Staff very friendly.

Running up to the event I had several options to ‘upgrade to a room with a toilet’ the cost to upgrade was a lot more but when I got to the room I already had a loo included so was unnecessary stress leading up to the event. Maybe was a gimmic to get you to upgrade but kept getting the notifications on booking.com
