  The Round Window is in the ideal place for Bowness right in the heart of things also .the parking space was very handy .

  The fridge door fittings were broken.The top of the oven was stained and old The sofa was very uncomfortable the carpet was dirty the whole room looked tired and needed a lick of paint .The bathroom cupboard was water damaged and the shower screen leaks whatever you did making puddles on the floor.The towels were so small you could not get dry with them. The spiral staircase was rusty and very rickety. We we're very disappointed as we have stayed in the Round Window before 8/10 year's ago and nothing had been done to the place . It's put us off staying there again . Also the cupboard to hang your clothes had a very large box with Christmas decorations in which made it difficult to hang things.

  Great location for the motorbike training nearby. Staff are friendly and very helpful. comfortable bed.

  Overall the hotel is tired and needs a total update. paper thin walls in the room, mould in the bathroom, congealed hand sanitiser, a pervading smell of damp (which was acknowledged - they are trying to sort it). Such a shame as the people running the place are lovely.
