  Good location. Easy check-in and check-in. Good Wi-Fi. A fridge, a kettle. Room a bit tired, heating was too high on arrival. No hot water in shower so I had a freezing cold one and suppose I was grateful for the toasty room! Doesn't feel like value for money but I don't know room rates in Newcastle to give a real comparison.

  Great 'Old Fashioned' looking hotel, real Victorian decor, massive reception area, well kept and a proper traditional 'state' hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful, room with a fantastic view of the sea.

  Lights from the car park that illuminate from hotel front shine into the rooms all night so curtains have to be closed, window didn't shut properly so was noisy from wind/traffic.

  The appartment was very well furnished with everything that you need, and super clean. It is only a short 10minute walk from the City centre so perfectly located for anyone needing direct access to the City.

  Don't know Leicster to well but the on the area looks a little run down in older industrial area of the City, A little concerned when I arrived n external apearance but the actua accomdoation was super

  Website stated hotel had restaurants and it was advisable to book. When I contacted hotel to book a meal I was advised they did not serve evening meals during the week. Website also stated that breakfast was served from 7.30 am. This was important to us as we needed to leave sharp for the airport. When we arrived we were told breakfast was served from 8.00 so although we paid for breakfast we didn’t actually have it.
