Dog friendly and unsure when booked as the cost was far lower than anyone close-by at just over £80pn. Realized upon arrival it was King Charles' development to deliver old British standards and way of living of the past, quite unlike that decreed by Government - fantastic surrounding private properties (expensive) with lots of open spaces and free parking throughout the complex. Pub was really lovely as were the staff - we arrived quite late on a Sunday and the the Sunday carvery was a mere £10 each (£18+ normally) - fantastic and very tasty. Breakfast had so much choice as well as cereals & lovely pastries. The room was huge! Amazingly decorated using the best quality linen - High quality mattress as used in the 'White House'. Bathroom again very tasteful using top quality items. Set in a large square with shops all around you and a short walk if wanting to walk off your food. Excellent idea if you can afford to live there.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating and when they did not have the room available that we had booked they changed things and made us feel welcome and offered us an alternative that suited us. We loved the breakfast, it was absolutely delicious and plentiful the surroundings were very scenic do we enjoyed looking at out the window at the beautiful mountains. Tea facility in bedroom was appreciated as we were on top floor.

the beds were a little too squishy for our liking it was a bit of a challenge getting my disabled partner up the stairs although staff did offer assistance so I appreciate that and the lift to the first floor did help.

Car parking - have to pay extra for the car parking which is not mentioned in the description. It used to be free but is now another way to add on to the final Bill.

Absolutely nothing!! Perhaps the location was the best and it’s in Camberwell..
Negative section of review
The smell, the humidity of the room and the bed sheets, the broken and leaky showers, the un walkable carpet ..

It would have been nice to have decaf coffee and breakfast tea in the room. We stayed in room 6, in the corridor leading to rooms 6 & 7 there was a steep step which I felt could do with a rail or handle on the wall. I’ve not long had a knee replacement and found it difficult without something to steady myself. This in no way was a problem. We will certainly stay again.
