      A lovely and quaint home in an ideal location. We received detailed information beforehand which made checking in easy and gave a range of recommendations as to what to do in the local area. The home had everything we needed and is well looked after. Hebden itself is the ideal destination for a relaxing getaway with beautiful views all around, many independent shops and a good choice of nice restaurants and pubs. Would highly recommend this stay to anyone and we will definitely be returning in the future. 10/10

      Fantastic traditional hotel with beautiful Fittings & elegant broad staircase with solid treads easy to climb even with a stick. charming, friendly staff who work efficiently & professionally. I love the biggest single malt whiskey collection in any hotel ever seen. Reading the labels can take a long time / but the whiskey menu is easier & informative. Chef excellent too. To me the Ardshiel, Flora, Marion & their caring team is the Mull of Kintyre.

      The room was small but as described and expected. Very quiet indeed, so a good nights sleep. The room and public areas were spotlessly clean. I paid extra for a room with a window, but it was blacked out, so I would pay the extra if staying there again. Great lighting in the room, so didn't miss not having natural light from the window. Great location for where I needed to be.

      We had a nice stay at Apple House in York! Situated close to the railway station, bus stop right in front of the house. City centre only 15 minutes away by foot. Our hosts were very amiable and served a very good breakfast with lots of varieties available. Clean room.
