Apartment was stunning. Everything about it was pristine and all the little touches from the hosts were lovely. Location was perfect and even though it's next to ferry terminal and train station it's very quiet. Private parking space is an added bonus. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Colin and John were excellent hosts and the breakfasts were generous. They have a lovely place which is well located and only a 10 minute walk into town. The room was nicely presented with a very comfortable bed. I would stay here again and highly recommend it. Thanks for having me!

Giggleswick and Settle were great. Surrounded by excellent scenery. Good selection of eateries in Settle. Excellent history tour via the Tourist Info office. Pretty river walks.

Upon initial viewing Pendle View looked fine. Then we sat on the leather sofa and went straight through it... Simply the most uncomfortable sofa we've ever sat on, couldn't sit on it. Other sofa unusable as it had dog hairs which triggered my asthma as i'm allergic to dog dander. The appt was advertised as 'no dogs allowed' but it turned out that Pendle View is a dog friendly appt. Asked owners for something to cover sofa, they didn't have anything. The mattress on the bed is past its best despite the topper. As with the leather sofa, the mattress needs replacing. The shower room had no window or extractor fan, the walls had permanent condensation and the towels stayed damp. Damp seeped into the bedroom affecting our clothes. The tiled steps up into the bathroom made getting up in the night for the toilet a hazard. As this would be an issue for anyone with mobility problems, it should have been made clear on the website. Reversing our car into a narrow space next to a wall past other parked cars was challenging. The man next door used the patio outside our bedroom window to access his property which felt lacking in privacy. With windows on only 1 side of the appt, Pendle View is to all intents and purposes a basement flat, and needs to be advertised as such. The new patio furniture arriving on our last day was a welcome addition as we used the chairs to sit on in the lounge. A new sofa and mattress would go a long way to making Pendle View a more comfortable place to stay.

The location was really close to the city centre. The property had everything required and extras as well. The owner was very helpful when I had any questions.

Didn’t think breakfast was that great . I would say average . Continental breakfast I would class as cereal, croissants, pastries. All I saw was cereal and a few bits of melon

Would have like a small fridge to keep some provisions cold needed as travelling widely
