The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

I have stayed here twice now whilst needing to be in central London for work. At the price point (£145 per night) it's the best I've found. Comfy bed, good air conditioning, window that opens, TV that actually works and let's you log in to Netflix/iPlayer, surprisingly quiet road. When travelling for work, priority one is just a solid nights sleep and this has been better than the travel lodges / premier inns I've tried.

The staff were amazing, very welcoming and attentive. The food in the restaurant was delicious every time, especially the breakfast. The pool area was very clean and a lovely place to relax.

The décor in the rooms were slightly outdated.
Positive section of review
The view from the hotel is beautiful. The breakfast was okay - okayish food, but the view from the restaurant makes it up for it.
Negative section of review
The bed was uncomfortable, one of them kept moving throughout the night. Some parts of the room weren't completely clean, like the kettle. There was no toilet brush in the toilet. The situation with the elevators was confusing - the numbers indicated on instructions didn't match the actual floor numbers. There was scaffolding around the hotel which we were notified only two days before the check-in. This also impacted the parking. We didn't want to park under the scaffolding, and additional parking behind the hotel was useless because it was covered in equipment.

En-suite a little small but functional
Positive section of review
The location was good, easy walking to the river and restaurants and the best parts of London.
Negative section of review
We arrived at 1.00am and although the keys could be collected 24/7, we were not confident of walking around that part of London so late with luggage, as the apartment was then another 10 minutes' walk away. So we booked into a hotel instead for the night. No-one's fault, our plane was terribly delayed. It was noisy at night, and the curtains did not keep out the ambient light or sun, so a bit disorienting after flying a long way.

The place itself is quirky, in a good and enjoyable way. The grounds were beautiful.

We couldn't close the bathroom door properly.

A clean budget hotel with limited facilities but had a great continental breakfast.

Budget hotel that you get what you pay for.

The breakfast was superb and gave us a great start to our day of walking.

There was nothing to dislike the room, the view, the peace and quiet, the food all exceptional.
Positive section of review
The location was central, the rooms were clean.

My room was no soundproof, I could hear people on the other side of the room. This was at times unnerving as a solo female traveller.
