Good central location for visiting different places. Spacious property with enclosed garden. Fairly well equipped and very family orientated. Nice to have a bath.

A little too cluttered for our taste; trying too hard to be homely, plus harder to clean. Some aspects becoming worn and tired, we felt now in need of a little attention and updating. No decent sized (pint or half) drinking glasses for water; dishwasher washed poorly and draw runners worn; kitchen tap slow to turn off; bed uncomfortable and not supportive; internet very slow; DVD player would not display images on TV screen and unable to find usual TV channels; plus underwear found behind living room door!!!

The only thing good about the hotel is the location.

Checked in, got ready for a shower, and there was no hot water, I suggested to the guy at reception that he drop the price of the room, and he was very negative about it. I was then woken up at 2am by the fire alarm. There was no fire. The shower from a room above had leaked into the wiring and set the alarms off. I was told this by another resident as the reception guy just ignored me when I asked what was going on. I had to leave for work at 5am so was not very impressed.

Not a dislike really, but it would have been lovely to have a bench or table and chairs so we could sit on front patio. We had nice sunny weather and would have liked to sit outside with a cuppa.
