Was a pleasant surprise that one of the rooms were en suite, I didn’t notice that mentioned in the description. The receptionist staff were also very friendly and helpful, we went for bag drop and was able to check in early as the apartment was available.

There was no cleaning supplies such as broom and mop, to self clean during our stay. Travelling with children this is essential and we had to think of creative ways to clean the floor each evening.

It all seemed lovely and clean, friendly welcome when we arrived and we were advise we were upgraded to a 1 bed apartment from a studio, location great for royal Albert hall

The sofa was a sofa bed and it felt very hard and not particularly pleasant to sit on. We were upgraded to a 1 bed which meant we had stairs into the bedroom which wasn’t ideal as one of my party struggles with stairs which was why I booked a studio to start with. The staff on the desk when trying to check out were really not helpful, after being upgraded to the 1 bed I figured I’d better check we would still have the late check out I had requested and had been granted for an extra £50, I was advised that I hadn’t booked a late check out, I had left my phone in the room so I went back to get it and on my return both members of staff were avoiding me, serving other guests who had arrived after I got back before me and checking people in together etc eventually they got round to serving me after I excused someone else they tried to serve before me only to be advised that what I had seen was just a promotion in a very condescending tone before I had a chance to show them the email I had received confirming a late check out. I advised them that I didn’t mind not getting the late check out as we’re ready to leave but I wanted to ensure I wouldn’t be charged the extra £50 at which point I was told they would get the manager to call up to my room, I went back to my room to find there is no phone 🙄 anyway all in all the service was very unhelpful and the whole ordeal wasted plenty of our last morning in London and tainted the whole trip. Also the lift is very slow.

Breakfast was excellent Good choice well cooked. The free Wi.fi was also excellent. The bed was really comfortable. The sheets were so soft.

Distance from lift was crazy. I told them I was disabled but we were so far from the lifts!! There was no refridgerator. Also no phone. The bathroom was really small.

We were a party of 4 having a 4 day break but the bar closed at 9pm on one night and 10pm on the other. On the 9pm evening we were asked to go to our rooms at 9.55pm because the bar staff were leaving and another night it was 10.30. For a pub this seemed very unusual and disappointing. Also the bathrooms lacked shelves to put our toiletries on and there was only one beside light. Had these things been addressed we would have rated this property as excellent as obvious efforts had been made to make it an enjoyable stay.

The car park joins to the pub car park. The sign said guests must register. The staff said there was no need. Now I have a parking fine from the pub and I have to pay as it was a hired car
