Six Brunton Place is very quiet and is on a moderately busy street.It is residential with a park leading to Calton Hill just across the street! The continental breakfast they laid out for us was superb and a good quality selection of food.We liked the comfy bed and the bathroom with large tub and shower had everything we needed, including a heated towel rack! They also had a walk out to private garden on the same floor.Very friendly owners!

The place was confortable and welkoming, and there was everything I needed. I really enjoyed staying the three nights I reserved. Futhermore the place is very close to the bus station, so it was easy to reach the other city around. Sheena, the host, was very kind and present, always careful to not let me miss anything.

There was no hot water for the entirety of my stay - I made staff aware as soon as I noticed, they said they’d look into it but didn’t come back to me, on check out I gave them the feedback and they acted surprised like this has never been an issue - I now see in reviews it’s a common occurrence. My room was over the bar so it was very loud. The curtains were not hanging properly so couldn’t be shut making the room bright at night.
