- “Baan Thai House is a really beautiful hotel set in really lovely grounds. We booked 2 rooms which were both absolutely lovely and one of the rooms had the bonus of an outdoor shower. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. We really loved the pool area which was well maintained with plenty of sun beds and a beautiful setting by the river. The staff were wonderful; extremely friendly and very helpful. We booked a sunset river tour through the hotel which was excellent and were dropped off at the night market for food. They also arranged a transfer back to Bangkok too. The hotel is a short tuk tuk or taxi ride to the main sights and we liked the fact it was tucked away in a lovely quiet area surrounded by well maintained gardens and a lovely lake. Would definitely stay here again!”

  The Miners Hut is genuinely the most cosy place I've stayed. It's decorated beautifully and stocked with everything you could ever need! Everything was immaculately clean and well presented. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, the ponies are adorable and the cat is super cuddly! Perfect location for a wonderful view from the garden and excellently situated for access to local amenities. Even though it was raining most of our stay the hut has wonderful heating and a well appreciated hot shower. I must say though that the bed was so comfortable we had to accommodate more lie-ins! We will definitely be coming back to Cornwall, even if only to stay here!

  - Very convenient central location near King's Cross and Russell Square stations - Lots of space to store luggage in dorms, and lockers available for extra or before check-in/ after check-out. - Everything is clean and well maintained (not the case in every hostel). - Nice ambiance at the bar area

  - Compared to other options in London, it's relatively cheap but it's still overpriced for what it is in my opinion. I guess this comment applies to accomodations in London in general unfortunately.

  Storage heaters so property was cool on arrival and couldn’t be heated up until the next day. Also no instructions as how to use the system. However, don’t usually expect to need heating in June!

  The hotel was tired, there was no bar open or any restaurant/bar meals, we had to go to the Crown for that. However there was an excellent bar/function room at the hotel, just a pity they were not open. Possibly a lack of staff.
