Fantastic barn conversion just the right size for 2 people and a small dog. Great location in the village of Over Haddon about 15 mins drive away from Bakewell. Village has a superb pub that you can easily walk to from the barn. The barn is beautifully presented with lots of nice finishing touches. Great towels and bedding. Seating patio area is a real sun trap and a great place for an afternoon glass or 3 of wine. Highly recommended.

It's a small barn and cosy so don't go expecting lots of space. But that's part of it's charming.

Lovely caravan ,everything we needed was there for us .The owner even messaged me to check everything was ok which was so nice ,was quiet as not main holiday season but great view of mountains and lake on site where you can have a drink at the boathouse too Site was beautiful kept ,clean and tidy Can’t fault the property ,we stayed as close to Snowdon and got there in under 15 mins from site

My only negative comment is not with the property but the facilities for June ,gym ,pool closed so early and only opened at 10 so no time to fit in around exploring area Restaurant looked nice but not open on a Tuesday or Wednesday which unfortunately were the nights we were there so we had to travel out to eat Check in could have been better ,site was not explained ,locations of facilities, location of caravan ,just told to enter pin at caravan to get keys and opened barrier ,rest was up to us Lady at reception very pleasant on leaving and checked stay was ok ,she wasn’t the same lady that checked us in I would stay again but maybe during main season when I’m sure there would be more going on

A tardis! Modern, clean and spacious. 3 mins to the cathedral - went to 8am communion to get free and very real experience (30 mins) then back for breakfast.

No double glazing so noisy traffic from 7am. Ok during the night - Ely is weekday quiet by 10pm.

Ann at reception is an absolutely amazing, friendly, and helpful person. 😀 for that reason, it makes you stay pleasant and welcoming.

Need updating as outdated and tired place. No USB charger 😒 but you can buy a plug from services next door.
