We had a room with a wonderful sea view which was so lovely to watch the rough sea (weather was very windy). The beds were comfortable and the en-suite was clean. The restaurant was excellent and fully booked. We had to wait a while for a food but we was in no rush, and the food was excellent when it arrived. The coffee and tea making facilities in the rooms are good as well. The staff were very good and nothing too much trouble for them. This trip was pure sightseeing with my friend from Australia and will be coming back with husband for another stay. By the way at lunch time before they opened there was a queue waiting to get into the restaurant, that's how good they are!

The stairs to the rooms are quirky. There is an external metal staircase which is fine or you could use the internal narrow and steep staircase which again I found in keeping with the Two Lifeboats. It is not impossible to get up and down the internal staircase, you just need to be careful. I have dodgy knees and coped well and my friend managed to get her suitcase down them albeit carefully.

I stayed one night for a business trip with work colleagues, have stayed at this hotel before and so I re-booked, it is a convenient location and everything worked well. Breakfast is reasonable for a buffet.

Very good value for the cooked breakfast but not such good value for the continental breakfast, which I thought was a bit pricy for what you got compared to what was on your plate with the cooked breakfast

Such a lovely little apartment. Facilities were great. We had everything we needed. The coffee machine was a nice extra touch. Clear communications throughout the trip. We'd definitely come back.

It would've been nice to know the garden area wasn't really as accessible as the photos looked. There's been some damage recently I guess and I'm sure it'll be sorted soon. We were busy all weekend anyway but if we chose this place to be able to sit in the garden and enjoy the view over the river this wouldn't have been possible.

Great location for the river boat service and main road network. Good level of communication from owner.

Gas cooker didn’t work and the controls were loose - we switched it off for safety purposes. No toaster alternative which wasn’t ideal. Curtains in each bedroom were white so very light on a morning which meant we could t sleep.

The website said 'airport shuttle' and there was none, it was in the back of a very shabby house and looked like a garage, th situation was on a crossroads that offered no restaurants, a very limited shop and a pub that did no food.
