  We recently stayed at the Phoenix Hotel in London and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is in a very good location, conveniently situated near two underground stops, with plenty of restaurants and shops just around the corner. We requested a quiet room in advance and were pleased that the hotel was able to accommodate our request without any issues. The breakfast offered was good and varied, served buffet style with plenty of options. The overall size of the room was small, but this was not an issue for us. Considering that everything in London comes at a premium, we were very happy that the Phoenix Hotel met all our needs. The room was nice, quiet, and clean. Additionally, the price of the hotel for London is very good value. We will definitely come back and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a small, simple, and quiet place to stay in a strategic location.

  The first night was quite hot, and although the room didn't have air conditioning, it did come equipped with two fans, which helped. Another minor issue was that on one of the days, they forgot to refill our tea bags and milk in the room. However, we understand this is an easy mistake to make. Also, the breakfast, while varied, had no hot foods, which might be an issue for some guests.

  Location of the hotel is very good, very easy to get from the Edinburgh airport, tram station is in front of the hotel, walking distance to the older part of the city.

  While the whole hotel looks renovated, the bathroom seemd to be older. No warm water very early in the morning. Rather expensive.
