Loved the building and the decor. The rooms were so cute and the attention to little details was really impressive. Staff were excellent and super accommodating. An error in our booking occurred - responsibility I think was between Booking.com and me, who made the order and then I didn't check the details of the order confirmation. Either way, the staff made the decision to give us an extra room at no cost as they had a room. This decision was not only a smart business decision, but we were soooo grateful as we had traveled quite a way to get there. The sitting room opposite the view with the Scottish music was just gorgeous.

Pillows on the beds could be softer. The meat stew in the Gatherer was only ok. Other food was great.

The property is in good location in east London overlooking the Regent Canal. That’s the only positive aspect of this property

The building is relative old and the apartment would benefit from a better maintenance. One of the the blind was broken and was not possible to access the terrace from the living area. Wooden floor on the terrace is rotten. Key collection is time consuming as the pick up location is 15 min walk (not ideal with the luggage). During my stay the washing machine flooded the apartment causing the apartment to be impracticable for two days. Property is not willing to compensate.

Stay away from this place. Everything was a disaster. The apartment is very old, in a very old building and it shouldn’t be on Booking in the first place. The pictures don’t reflect the actual status of the apartment. It was extremely dirty, so as soon as we arrived we had to clean it ourselves (which wasn’t easy considering the disgusting status of the mop and the broom we found there). Last but not least, the flat is full of ultrasounds against rats and we found also poison for rats left on the floor (which was also pretty bad considering we were there with a 3 years old child), the owner of course didnt mention anything about it. We felt very uncomfortable there, we didnt leave just because at the very last moment it was hard to find an alternative.

Noisy room. Poor pub food. Dreadful breakfast in terms of service as we were the only guests. No milk, so no cereal. Took an hour to serve coffee and a greasy bacon and egg bap.
