The location is great and the rooms very welcoming and comfortable. The food is excellent and goes well with the restaurant and bar setting. We were made to feel very welcome and looked after throughout our stay. We will be back! Now that crab quiche has to be a key reason for that return, alone!!

We had a fabulous stay here. The room was lovely and extremely clean. The staff were all very helpful and clearly love working there. The location is fabulous for a trip into Scarborough and is in a very quiet area. The food and restaurant service were superb. Breakfast was excellent.

The swimming pool etc. is great. Good size comfortable room. Excellent breakfast. Dinner service was very good. Excellent staff. Palatial buildings & posh furniture- a good 4*.

Soggy weather. Internet booking got us a room 400 yards from main hotel. Changed at the desk for an extra £20.

Bar staff very friendly but little interaction from the landlord. Not really a grumble as we are not slim Jim’s, we found the shower enclosure a little bit of a tight fit!

Contacted the owner to ask if we could check in early by phone and by message and never received a reply. The bed was very hard, but that's personal preference.

In my room there was one homeless women who would come late in the evening to sleep with all her belonging and leave with everything the next day. This happened three nights in a row. She didn’t steal or did anything bad, it was just very odd and made us all a little tense on the first night since she entered very late in the evening.
