Conviently located, the room was a good size with quality bedding and towels and the bed was comfortable. Tea and coffee were provided too. We had dinner in the restaurant, there was a good choice and it was very hot and tasty. Transfer to the airport early hours was faultless. We received a nice warm welcome from the lady on reception who also served us at the bar and took our meal order. All staff were polite and helpful.

The only slight criticism was the shower which was a very small cubicle and poor flow of water.

The location of the hotel was ideal for exploring the city. Next to the cathedral and near to restaurants and shops. The staff were very helpful and informative. The breakfast choice was good, albeit it was biased to hot food. The hotel had a restaurant with a good menu choice. Plenty of car parking which included EV charging. Guests paid a reduced fee for parking.

The hotel public areas, albeit comfortable, were a little cold and uninviting. The breakfast choice needed to have more continental choice.

The property is in a very quiet and beautiful village. There are no parking restrictions outside the property. The room and en suite were spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The owner was very friendly and made us feel most welcome. The self service continental breakfast was great.

We were in room 9 and hardly slept at all because of a consistent flushing and water moving in pipes noise. Don't know what it was but it happened every 2-3 minutes for most of the night, hense no sleep. A huge pile of clean hotel laundry was also dumped in front of our door, this was both inconvenient and unsafe as it impared our egress.

Shared bathroom - ran out of toilet tissue. Had to go to find a cleaning cart to get a replacement (or find another bathroom). This is preventable…. With a shared bathroom use is going to by high. Should have dispensers which hold two rolls. Failing that, when checking amount remaining on daily clean, leave an extra roll ahead of it running out when low, not wait until run out. I took a part used roll from cart - next day it had not been fitted in the housing, and later had run out - again…….
