  Very clean, lovely view of the Thames, comfy sofa and beds. Only 2 minute walk to Waitrose and 5 minutes to Kingston train station. There were two bathrooms which were both spotlessly clean and had shampoo, soap and plenty of toilet rolls. Only three of us stayed there so it was very spacious for us. We also only stayed one night but I would happily have stayed much longer. It's in a perfect location for a trip to London. The booking team sent photos of the front door and where the lock box was, so that was really helpful.

  We found it a little bit difficult to open the main door to the building. It was a key fob and took several attempts to get in. Perhaps some info along with the excellent door photos would be helpful. The door to the balcony from the twin room didn't have a lock so be aware if you have children in that room that they can access the balcony in the night.

  The hosts were very friendly. When we arrived they were closed but Brian opened the door with a big smile and said ‘is there anybody who wants a bear’. And we could check in. They also prepaired a very good meal just for the two of us and the breakfast was super. In the evening we had a nice chat with a local guest and the hosts, very entertaining. We highly recommend the Golden Lion Inn.

  Breakfast was very good. We also had an evening meal and it was excellent. The room was clean with usual facilities and ensuite bathroom. Bathroom could maybe do with an update, but was clean and functional. We had out dog with us and the staff were very welcoming to her. Overall a lovely place and nice and friendly people.

  There was nothing that we didn't like. Just as I mentioned before that maybe the ensuite bathroom could do with an upgrade.

  Great location close to family. Easy access to Crewe station. Nice open uncluttered rooms, bright and airy. Comfy beds and good bathroom. Kitchen and living room great spaces for family or group. Good kitchen equipment.
