Her recommendation really made a difference to our trip...we would have tried to lug our large suitcases from Nikko to Tokyo (thinking that it was only a train ride away) if not for her advice to pre-send them to our Tokyo hotel.   The centrality of the location; very easy to access public transport, to practically anywhere in the city; very good facilities, such as shower and kitchenette; easy to access; generally quiet area; highly suitable for our purposes (concert going at Ormeau Park); accessible to tourist hot spots and locations.

  Structure of bathroom was very difficult and uncomfortable; Netflix log-in caused problems as previous tenants never logged out so we could not use it and was unsure as to how to reset it; loud construction occurring in the early morning on both days directly above bedroom - should be taken into consideration before lodgment.

  The cocktails and lambs chops were exceptional!! The bartender making the cocktails definitely knows his art! Proximity to the bus stop is tops! It’s also well priced for London prices.

  The breakfast got cold real fast even before you got there, perhaps it’s because they didn’t have enough warmers. However, the waiter was kind enough to warm it up for us upon request. The variety to choose from is fair as well.

  Nice area, with friendly local pub nearby. Very quiet and pleasant, private location. Good TV, and everything as described including kitchen facilities. Nice to have two bathrooms.

  No WiFi and only a very weak 3G/4G signal available in some areas of the lodge. Had to walk to main square to pick up the WiFi. No ice compartment in the fridge, so needed to buy ice from on site shop each day. In need of refurbishment as some parts look tired.

  The comfort of the bed was good. Considering we stayed in a room on the main road there wasn’t much noise so that was good

  When arriving and checking in I was told the room wasn’t ready yet so I asked could I pay for parking park the car and come back. I was told yes and paid the £25 and was told to go round the back. I went round pressed the button and was told the car park was then full over an intercom. I was made to wait for around 10 minutes before being told I could go in to what was an empty car park. After parking I went back and was told the room still wasn’t ready an hour after getting there. Once we got to the room and put our stuff down we noticed red marks all over the carpet. The room was quite warm so tried to put the air con on which cut out after no more than 30 seconds. Then looking at the bed we noticed hairs all over it. My partner went to take a shower for it to have very low pressure. The following morning we went down for breakfast for the hot drinks machine not to be working.
