The breakfast was delicious. The reception and bar staff were exceptional hosts, most helpful, shared local knowledge and even offered to collect us if we couldn't book a taxi when visiting Looe in the evening. Our room was upgraded to a Seaview room. We had a fabulous stay, the swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi were excellent also. Thank you.

Fabulous cottage. Perfect location a few doors up from the bay horse inn great food warm welcome. Ideal base. This is a great place!! fully equipped kitchen everything you could need. Thoughtful touches milk tea coffee biscuits shower gel shampoo logs for burner. Comfy beds Lovely bedding fluffy towels. Good parking private garden

The location was good for the purpose of our stay. Breakfast was good with plenty on offer. Although the hotel is dated, the hotel and our room were clean and had everything we needed. The lady at the bar and who was serving breakfast was very helpful. Also made use of the pool and fitness suite.

Very close to cow and calf rocks so only a small detour from my walk (dales high way). Room was good. Plenty of space, comfy bed, tea and coffee, toiletries, fridge.

The ceiling lights in my room didn’t work and the knobs were missing from the dimmer switches. There were very good lamps though so no bother and the whole place is being refurbished later in the year.

Bathroom was dirty...room was small and the people in the upstairs room were noisy and you could hear everything...no kettle no microwave...quite dissatisfied to be fair...as a cleaner myself..mirrors top of wardrobe etc were filthy and never been dusted...door kept jamming and wouldn't open...cheap and cheerful
