The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

We booked this last minute so were very pleased that it was readily available. Ross was informative, helpful (we needed extra bedding to change bed layout) and reasonable allowing us a later check out. The location, namely proximity to beach will always keep this house in favour. Lovely short stroll to beach with ramp access straight to sand & sea. Bathroom is downstairs but great to have separate bath and shower. Outside patio garden, safely enclosed and a nice sun trap for kids to play. We also managed to park directly outside the house throughout most of our stay too which was a bonus.

Nothing major but easy fixes Handbook not out on arrival, found within a drawer on 2nd day. Kitchen bin needs fixing or changing One of the connecting single beds is broken, dips in middle. We propped up mattress with spare bedding. Wardrobes lean forward from walls, I know this can’t be helped so much with older properties but I would’ve felt happier if they were tethered to the walls. Lounge sofa(light one) seemed to dip in middle

We absolutely loved our stay at Dillons . Mat and Craig were so welcoming - it felt like being at a friend’s house. Our room Zanzibar was stunning, beautifully decorated and the comfiest bed ever. Breakfast was absolutely outstanding - we are regular travellers both abroad and here in the UK and seldom come across standards as high as at Dillons. Can’t wait for our next trip!! Thank you so much guys 🧡

Fantastic property in a great location. Huge apartment that’s been very tastefully decorated and was spotless. We stayed in the garden apartment which had a kitchen which is a real bonus if you’re staying for a few nights plus there’s a large outside patio - a great place to unwind. It’s very close to the centre of Buxton but situated on a very quiet road so you get a good nights sleep.

It was so close to the Trafford centre and the tram station was a 5 minute walk. There is also a bus stop right outside. Followed by a McDonald’s which was very handy if we were in a rush. The staff were wonderful.

Sadly , only the location. As close for the boat trips, etc.

The room was poor, very small for a double room, and not very clean. The bathroom window was broken and kept banging through the night. The customer service was poor, and sadly, the breakfast, too.

I was stuck in the bathroom as the lock jammed. My partner tried calling the front desk and no response for at least 30 minutes. This would be terrifying if a lone occupant or a medical emergency
