This place is very clean, the staff are super friendly. Is it value for money ? - yes definitely. Yes the bathroom we had, was small - but this is clearly stated in the room description, it was clean, the shower was hot and it worked fine. We stayed one night and The Waterfront suited our needs exactly without breaking the bank. The team are sprucing the place up, which must be difficult whilst being open and attending to guests needs. Breakfast fine. The drinks prices were reasonable too. Didn't eat our evening meal here, so cannot comment.

We had Room 1 which was just lovely and we were offered it as I have limited mobility. It was clean, we had fluffy towels and hot chocolate with caramel wafers. What’s not to like? The location is great, as it is a short walk to the centre of Aviemore and there are ample food places nearby. I heartily recommend The Park.

Very friendly. Felt immediately welcome as a waggy tailed dog came down the hall almost smiling at us. Friendly host checked us in, took our breakfast order and introduced us to the honesty bar. Room, bed, shower, view - all great.

Had a twin room for two people. Only supplied with ONE teabag. Really? For an overstay for TWO people? Really? Only ONE hand towel and ONE bath towel for TWO people. Really? No carpet throughout most of the hotel. No carpet in our room only what looked like linoleum. Bare grey walls in bedroom , very drab, not at all cosy or welcoming. It was like a big office building, not a residential building. None of the above gave the impression of a 4 star hotel in any way.

Nice building and location. Food was nice. Mostly pleasant staff. Really enjoyed walking round the grounds.

We knew the toilet was seperate from the room but the shower was also a seperate room, which was inconvenient. One breakfast time the coffee ran out and 9:00 but staff were not willing to make any more. There was a coffee machine at the bar but the staff said we would have to pay extra for that coffee. The dinner at the White Hart was delicious but the portions were silly too small and not satisfaying.

The property was not ready for my arrival,I had to wait till 6pm should have been in at 3. I was attending an evening event and after travelling I did not have time to shower. I couldn’t even get in to use the bathroom. I was sharing with a friend who arrived later and they had the bigger room which they said was damp. Large shower head did not work. No plug in kitchen sink or even a bowl for washing up.

The breakfast was a couple of child cereal boxes. One slice of bread. Not enough cutlery or china for two. One towel. Dirty messy place. Dead tv remote. Toiletries half a sanitizer gel and hand wash. Absolute noisy racket from neighbours. Don't think the bed was clean. Two tea bags no coffee. This place is shocking.
