Such a lovely old building, full of character. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our room. Wonky floors are part of the charm! Lovely room , clean and with all we needed inside. We stayed here before a trip to Silverstone the following day, Silverstone is an easy drive 15 minutes from the pub. We had a great evening drinking with the locals. Jamie and Katie are fantastic hosts at the pub! Had a great time with you all!

The young man at the reception was excellent but was then heavily let down by his colleague in the buffet restaurant. He was foreign man with greasy hair and he was very rude. The staff were also cuddling and gossiping about customers on the restaurant floor as we were eating our very overpriced buffet.

Location was perfect, the view from the room was exceptional.

Shower had mold on the bottom left hand side that could have easily been wiped away, splash stains on wall in two areas from tea possibly ,two large carpet stains also probably tea. Staff were good but got very confused by the pre-ordered evening meal option on the computer and we had to point out I had already paid it upon arrival each time we ordered food.. Food was average quality.

No complimentary bottled water so to make a cup of tea would use bathroom tap but no milk even in a satcha Breakfast was inc but we left at 07.30am with no idea what time breakfast would be delivered Information would have been nice We’ve stayed at a few private properties and to be honest this was the least personable we’ve experienced
